You may be wondering, why is SuperFree completely free? Are there no hidden costs? What’s the catch?
SuperFree is free, and there are a few things you need to know to understand why.
SuperFree is powered by iFastNet. Over the last decades, iFastNet has been developing a unique cloud hosting solution. With it, they manage to host a lot more accounts per server than would have been possible with traditional hosting software, while still keeping websites as fast or even faster than other hosting providers.
Because of this solution, the server costs for individual accounts is very low.
Because of this, our costs are very low.
SuperFree is great for hobby websites and for testing stuff. Hosting complex web applications or high traffic sites is not supported, to make sure no account can use an excessive amount of server power. These rules help keep the usage fair and ensures a few big users can’t endanger the viability of free hosting for the majority of users.
We have banner advertisements on our own website, control panel and forum. iFastNet, who maintain the hosting system, also install their own ads (for example the upgrade offers in the control panel). It may seem hard to believe, but these advertisements are enough to cover the costs.
We do not force ads on your website. Costs are low enough these days that forcing ads on user websites is not necessary. All decent free hosting providers do not put ads on your site.
So if you would like to support SuperFree, please make sure to disable your ad blocker on our sites and panels, because it really does help keep the service free.
SuperFree is completely paid for using the advertisements on the control panel and donations. If you would like to help support us, please donate here.
